What a gift it was to treat myself to my first trip to Europe, never mind Spain to spend 9 glorious days with connected sisters at the House of Light Retreat. The food was absolutely divine and nourishing. Waking each morning to the Spanish sunrise reminded me of all the beauty there is in this world that we have yet to discover. The variety of movement that was offered to us including yoga, Qi Gong, and Aqua aerobics, not to mention self guided mountain and river hikes, enabled me to return to my regular life in better physical shape than when I left. Journalling and meditation sessions enabled me to connect inwards to reaquaint myself with the person I most care about and want to continue to nurture to bring the best of me back to those I love. Mission accomplished!

I already knew that this trip would be beautiful and enriching even before I set out to travel to Spain. Payton has a gift of bringing folks together to share in a collective experience that is welcoming, expansive and healing to whatever might be ailing you in any given moment. Our time at House of Light retreat was full of laughter, tears, joy, compassion. It was a sharing of resources and of time together that was tender, caring and mindful of the needs of the group and of the flow required to ensure that all felt seen, heard and loved. The venue was stunning, the staff were kind, fun and sweet and the food was nourishing, plentiful and gorgeous. Highly recommend!!

The people at the house of light were wonderful. The vegetarian cuisine was delicious, colorful and very filling.

Retreating at House of Light with Payton and her co-facilitators at the helm was a once in a lifetime experience. This venue is gorgeous, set in the hills of Southern Spain, and owned and staffed by the most genuine, loving souls. There was plenty to do, and not to do if this was your choosing. Pool, food, hiking, choices of accommodations, excursion day, yoga, dance, and more. Couple this with the fact that this is one of Payton Kennedy's retreats, and you have the creme de la creme. Payton's warmth, kindness, humor and generosity shines throughout the retreat. Everything is planned with detail, yet allowing room for flexibility. I came off this retreat feeling refreshed and reconnected, with myself and the other retreaters. Go if you have the chance!! Mary
